Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is offering a 12-month undergraduate placement in Supply Chain starting July 2026 at our UK sites, including Leicester. You will work on projects that matter, gain guidance and development, and be part of a fast-paced, energetic environment with a large, diverse team.

As a placement student, you will support the Leicester Engineering Reliability team, review asset data, use CAD, and deliver small-scale projects while developing valuable engineering and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• RTW for the duration of the full-time placement (July 2027–July 2028).
• Penultimate year of university with sandwich placement option.
• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Curiosity and willingness to challenge established ways.

Responsibilities

• Support the Leicester Engineering Reliability team with site-wide improvements.
• Review asset performance and MTBF data to identify priorities.
• Design and deliver small-scale repair/maintenance projects with in-house teams.
• Use CAD systems to support design and manufacture solutions.
• Develop knowledge of asset life cycle management and monitoring tech.
• Apply project management to plan and deliver reliability initiatives.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and OEMs.
• Develop robust solutions balancing operation, sustainability and pep+ priorities.
• Contribute real-life objectives and measurable impact to the department.
