Engineering Manager – Cybersecurity Applications – Fully Remote

£100,000 base salary plus equity and benefits. Fully Remote

I’m partnering with an analyst-recognised cybersecurity scale‑up whose platform shows large enterprises how they could be compromised in real time, before attackers succeed. They blend attacker behaviour, large-scale data pipelines and automated offensive security to give security teams true, live exposure visibility.

The Role for Engineering Manager, Cybersecurity Applications

You’ll be the global owner of the customer‑facing application stack, leading the teams that ship the features enterprise customers actually touch:

• Lead and grow a high‑performing Applications Engineering organisation across three regions, setting the bar on quality, speed and reliability
• Own core SaaS capabilities – onboarding, account lifecycle, auth / SSO, granular access control, notifications, logging and multi‑tenancy
• Partner tightly with Product and Design to turn complex security data into simple, powerful workflows that customers love
• Shape engineering practices across teams, embedding quality, security and agility into how software is built and shipped

The Person for Engineering Manager, Cybersecurity Applications

You’re an established scale‑up engineering leader who still cares deeply about the tech:

• Proven track record leading distributed engineering teams and developing local leads in different regions
• Experience in cybersecurity products or security data at scale, ideally threat intel / offensive security, in B2B SaaS start‑ups or high‑growth scale‑ups
• Strong technical grounding across Node.js, Typescript, React, MySQL and cloud‑native architectures (AWS, ECS / K8s, Kafka, Airflow)
• Comfortable driving Agile and DevOps culture, and setting high standards for clean, testable, secure code in fast‑moving environments
