Overview

As an Engineering Manager, you'll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You'll lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team to deliver technical solutions across complex projects from concept design through to full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC). You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects meet budget and performance targets, while acting as a Technical or Design Authority to provide assurance across a range of assets.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage engineering teams to deliver project scope effectively.
  • Oversee technical solutions and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Act as Technical/Design Authority, providing assurance and governance.
  • Integrate multi-disciplinary tasks and work packages across the project lifecycle.
  • Support estimating and planning for engineering scope from concept to completion.

This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week, based at Warrington, Cheshire, with at least three days onsite per week.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing engineering scope and leading teams.
  • Strong background in project delivery across the full lifecycle, with an understanding of multi-disciplinary interfaces.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline or chartered status, with significant demonstrable experience.
  • Must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
