Job Description

We’re looking for an Engineering Leader to shape how we design, build, and deliver digital experiences across Pregnancy+, the world’s most trusted pregnancy app. You’ll report directly to the Business Leader for Worry-Free Parenting, playing a pivotal role in aligning engineering, product, and design functions to accelerate value delivery for millions of users worldwide. You’ll lead a distributed engineering organization, primarily based in India, while working closely with leadership and product teams in Europe. Your focus will be on creating the right environment for high-quality, high-velocity development, defining how we operate today, envisioning how we need to operate tomorrow, and driving that transformation through process, tooling, and measurement. You’ll champion AI-enabled engineering, ensuring we leverage modern technologies to dramatically increase efficiency and consistency across releases.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and empower a distributed engineering organization

• Lead an engineering organization primarily based in India, ensuring delivery excellence and strong alignment with leadership in Europe.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Management and Design teams to maintain synergy across disciplines, reducing time-to-market and increasing value-to-market.
• Evaluate and evolve engineering processes, tools, and practices to improve speed, quality, and scalability.
• Establish and monitor clear KPIs and delivery metrics that measure performance, predictability, and quality.
• Drive organizational change through influence and structure, embedding best practices and accountability across teams.
• Partner with product and engineering leaders to foster engagement, alignment, and consistent delivery outcomes.
• Identify and implement modern tools and frameworks that enhance delivery pipelines, testing, and release management.
• Champion the integration of AI and automation to optimize workflows and increase developer productivity.
• Foster a culture of transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years of experience managing or leading engineering teams, ideally within consumer digital or mobile products.
• Strong understanding of mobile development principles, architecture, CI/CD, and operational excellence.
• Proven track record of leading engineering transformation and improving organizational efficiency.
• Experience managing distributed or remote teams, ideally across time zones.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a product-led organization, collaborating closely with Product and Design to deliver user value.
• Ability to define and monitor KPIs that connect engineering outcomes to business results.
• Enthusiasm for AI-enabled engineering, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, GitHub, Firebase, and modern mobile CI/CD frameworks.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. Indicate if this role is an office/field/onsite role.
