Job Title: Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Bingley

Salary: Up to £55,000 + Overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)

Sector: FMCG Manufacturing

A well‑established FMCG manufacturing business near Bingley is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Supervisor to support the Engineering Manager and lead day‑to‑day engineering activities on site. This is a hands‑on supervisory role, ideal for a strong people manager with a solid background in FMCG maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage the daily workload of six engineers and external contractors
  • Plan, schedule and monitor PPMs and reactive maintenance
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and to standard
  • Support continuous improvement of maintenance systems and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety and engineering standards
  • Act as first point of escalation for engineering issues during core hours
  • Report performance, issues and progress directly to the Engineering Manager
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an engineering supervisory or lead role within FMCG
  • Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance systems
  • Experience using CMMS software
  • Confident managing engineers and contractors
  • Strong health & safety awareness
  • Good organisational and communication skills
