Engineering Administrator
What You Will Do

Join our Fire & Security team as an Engineering Administrator , where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our Engineering Department. This is a hybrid role , with core office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at our Sunbury-on-Thames office. You’ll provide essential support to the Engineering team, Regulatory team, and management, helping us deliver high-quality service across the business.

Your responsibilities will include :
  • Supporting Engineering and management with administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Preparing reports, maintaining accurate databases, and managing records.
  • Assisting with regulatory processes, applications, and declarations.
  • Handling office administration : mail, supplies, travel, and meeting arrangements.
  • Coordinating maintenance of office and engineering equipment.
  • Assisting with financial tasks such as invoicing, purchase orders, and month-end duties.
  • Liaising with Finance and other teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.
What We Are Looking For
  • Strong administrative experience, ideally 5+ years in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Adaptable, motivated, and quick to learn new systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience of working in an engineering, distribution centre, or factory environment is beneficial.
