A prominent motorsport team based in the United Kingdom is looking for a Bodywork Mechanic to work on the McLaren Hypercar Programme. You will handle fitting, maintenance, and quick repairs of bodywork and aerodynamic components on race cars. The ideal candidate has experience in high-level motorsport and exceptional attention to detail. This role demands calmness under pressure, strong teamwork, and a commitment to performance. Travel is required for long race weekends, making punctual work essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in WEC, LMP, GT, FE, F1 or similar motorsport.
• Understanding of fasteners, mounts, and composite interfaces.
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities

• Fit, maintain and repair bodywork and aerodynamic components.
• Ensure perfect alignment and secure mounting.
• Carry out fast repairs during live sessions.
• Support damage inspection and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain presentation of all fitted surfaces.
