Job summary

United Media in London is seeking an hands-on operations leader to own the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences per year, managing venues, suppliers, on-site teams and guest experience.

You will work with an entrepreneurial team, ship complex moving parts to land on time, and oversee a 40-person volunteer force. This role is based in our London HQ with opportunities for travel and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in vendor management and event planning.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• UK work permit required.

Responsibilities

• Source, compare, and select suppliers for event needs.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers for cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Coordinate with venues and staff to ensure logistics are in place.
• Provide on-site support during conferences and events.
• Hire, train, and manage a 40-person team of volunteers.
