United Media in London is seeking an operations-focused professional to own the end-to-end delivery of 10 European private equity conferences per year—covering venues, suppliers, on-site teams and the overall attendee experience.

You will thrive in a fast-paced startup-like culture, shipping with meticulous attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines, and coordinating a thousand moving parts to land in the right place at the right time. Travel overseas will be part of the role.

Qualifications

• No specific prior experience required; training provided.
• UK work permit is required.
• Strong drive, work ethic, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Source, compare, and secure event suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Budget review and management.
• Plan sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities.
• Coordinate with venues and provide on-site support.
• Hire, train, and manage a 40-person volunteer team.
