A leading disability charity in the City of London is seeking an Enabling Support Worker to provide crucial support and encouragement to young adults with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will maintain records, administer personal care, and facilitate various activities to enhance life skills. This role offers a supportive environment and generous benefits including a welcome bonus and ample time off.
As an Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.
You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.
Next Steps is a day centre that supports young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to learn and develop life‑skills and build confidence.
Our caring and friendly staff encourage people we support to participate in various activities that challenge them to reach their full potential. Activities include arts & crafts, sport, fitness and wellbeing, and gardening and horticulture.
The working hours will be: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
