Job Overview

This is a hands‑on role reporting to the Head of Talent Engagement for the Europe Markets, working on key activities and campaigns to support the attraction of talent for Diageo. You’ll love building relationships, working collaboratively, uncover challenges and useful insights that help you come up with creative solutions that innovate. From channel strategy, content planning and creation, to devising communications and running campaigns, you’ll effortlessly manage employer brand activity that helps to build our employer brand and reputation with diverse audiences across our European markets. You’ll understand the power of advocacy and storytelling, and your knowledge of the talent space and what candidates look for in employers ensures you prioritise penetrating key candidate moments with the right content in the right format at the right moment, increasing conversion at every stage of quality diverse talent.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and own the Employer Brand strategy across the Europe Markets, supporting local TE teams in attraction efforts by understanding hiring/business demands and local talent landscapes.
  • Run both tactical and strategic campaigns aimed at generating quality applications from a diverse range of candidates.
  • Create innovative campaign initiatives delivered across the right platforms to drive engagement and evolve our employer brand locally.
  • Build and run the partnerships and event strategy for the Europe Markets.
  • Unleashing your creativity and use global EB frameworks to instigate, create and run events, photo and video shoots.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal partners including Global Employer Brand, HR, CR, and Inclusion & Diversity teams to gather internal resources to help build external narrative and align our global employer branding campaigns and activities to key communications initiatives and hiring needs across the business.
  • Support the implementation of the Global Employer Brand in the markets and ensure our brand toolkits are brought to life.
  • Partner with the global team to manage external local Marketing Design agency for initiatives.
  • Understand EVP - narrative and messaging pillars. Use this to optimise channel strategy and plan monthly content calendars which amplify our compelling story.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Employer Branding and/or Recruitment Marketing.
  • A track record in driving successful employer branding/marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to use metrics to demonstrate success in building /strengthening an employer branding proposition.
  • Strong ability to influence and align key decision makers.
  • Deep personal accountability for great performance.
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, while remaining composed, thorough and detail orientated.
  • Resourceful – able to think creatively and cost effectively.
  • Always on top of industry changes. Proactive, shapes the future – able to spot future trends and position Diageo to capitalise on these.
  • The ability to be agile and pivot at short notice.
  • Passionate, proactive, solution oriented, creative and able to think and learn quickly.
  • Great teammate and empower others.
  • Project management skills – ability to plan and manage your time effectively. You will have experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
