Job summary

ABM in Heathrow is seeking an ER Advisor to provide pragmatic, timely advice on employee relations, including discipline, grievances, TUPE, and absence management, supporting line managers across London.

This full-time 40-hour role reports to HR Business Partner. You will log ER queries, help update policies, prepare tribunal responses, and coach managers in people management while ensuring compliance with legislation and company policy.

Qualifications

• Provide timely, commercial advice on employee relations including discipline, grievances, TUPE and absence management.
• Support line managers and operational leads across London as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for managers on ER cases.
• Ensure ER matters are fair and compliant with laws and company policy.
• Log and update ER queries for reporting.
• Monitor and update policies with line manager.
• Prepare tribunal responses and evidence bundles with legal team.
• Support initiatives to improve engagement and continuous improvement.
• Coach and train managers in people management.
• Develop operational managers.
• Collaborate with HR Admin and Payroll to maintain data records.
• Demonstrate strong ER knowledge or willingness to lead.
• Experience in facilities, hospitality, or retail.
• Work with high volumes in a fast-paced environment.
• Prioritise effectively.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of TUPE.
