Job summary

ABM seeks an Employee Relations Advisor to provide specialist ER advice and manage a UK&I case load, enabling managers to handle people matters fairly and in line with policy.

You will work within a single ER team, delivering services across contracts while adhering to governance standards and quality controls. CIPD Level 5 and a degree in HR are essential, with experience in ER highly valued.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
• Experience in Employee Relations or HR advisory is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Employee Relations cases including performance, conduct, attendance, grievance and capability matters.
• Provide practical ER advice and coaching to managers at all levels.
• Conduct investigations and prepare clear, evidence-based reports.
• Support managers through formal ER processes ensuring consistency and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for early intervention and informal resolution where appropriate.
