Job summary

Shopify Inc. is seeking a Partner Solutions Engineer to own a sub-region of EMEA and act as the technical lead for the local partner ecosystem. You will translate merchant priorities into partner opportunities and provide tailored training and consultations across the partner network.

Expect regular interactions with Shopify product and R&D teams, and travel up to 30–40% across EMEA. Strong API, cloud/SaaS fundamentals, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

Experience in ecommerce, digital agencies, solutions engineering, implementation consulting, or a similar technical pre/post-sales role.
Experience in the enterprise space with governance, stakeholder management and change management.
Deep Shopify platform expertise and its application ecosystem and integrations.
Strong API knowledge (REST and GraphQL) for enterprise integrations.

Responsibilities

Own a sub-region of EMEA end to end, and be the go‑to technical leader for Shopify in that partner ecosystem.
Map partner landscape, identify capability gaps, and build a plan to close them.
Translate merchant priorities into concrete opportunities for partners and feed back to product teams.
Deliver tailored technical training, onboarding, and consultations to partners.
