Qualifications

The Divisional Control Office (DCO) for KYC Ops and Business Financial Crime is responsible for monitoring, managing, and mitigating operational risk across the group. This includes supervision of the risk and control strategy, providing a consolidated view of operational risks for KYC, and reporting key issues, cyclical activities such as review of finding closures (internal and externally raised), control testing, incident research, remediation monitoring, and other deep dive reviews.

This role offers a unique opportunity to have responsibility for global deliverables across the Risk and Control framework for the 1LoD Business.

Your key responsibilities
  • Ensure effective governance structures are in place, including monitoring Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and investigating issues
  • Manage Audit Self-Identified Issue (SII) & Incident processes, ensuring compliance and proactive risk management
  • Design and deliver a risk culture improvement program to promote transparency and awareness
  • Collaborate with multiple functions to ensure documentation and evidence support closure of findings
  • Support timely remediation of risk and control issues and assist Risk Owners in identifying key controls or gaps
Your skills and experience
  • Significant experience in a global banking environment, preferably in Audit, Controls Testing, or 2nd line Assurance
  • Knowledge of risk and control frameworks; experience in KYC operations is a plus
  • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Client-focused, adaptable to changing demands
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, under pressure, prioritizing effectively
