Qualifications

• Candidates must be GMC registered with a license to practice.
• Previous fellowship experience in medical/surgical retina required.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients in a clinical setting under supervision.
• Participate in regular operating lists alongside the lead surgeon.
• Lead ward work ensuring prompt discharge of patients after surgery.

Ability to assist in ophthalmic surgery

Education

MBBS or equivalent

MRCOphth or equivalent

Surgical accreditation i.e. FRCOphth or equivalent

Interest in research, preferably PhD
