Maintenance Electrician

Location: Coventry

Salary: £40,000 basic + £150 standby allowance (1 in 5 weeks)

Contract: Permanent | 40 hours per week

Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, van and fuel card provided

Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts (2 weeks 9am-5pm, 2 weeks 6am-3pm)

Weekend work: 1 weekend in 5

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and well-respected Building Services company seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support a manageable patch of leisure sites across Coventry. This permanent role offers consistency, a great team environment, and genuine respect for your time.

The role:

1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across electrical systems
2. Attend reactive maintenance issues as required
3. Participate in a 1-in-5 on-call rota (standby hours 4:30pm - 10:00pm; callouts are rare)

What you'll need:

• 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification or equivalent
• Test & Inspection qualification
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check (sites include leisure centres used by the public)
