Taunton

The Role

• Wire control panels and special purpose machines to detailed electrical drawings.
• Install and connect PLCs, motors, drives, relays, transformers, HMIs, sensors, and cable management systems.
• Perform on-machine wiring including trunking, cable trays, and junction boxes.
• Conduct fault finding and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and wiring standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and collaborate with the team to resolve issues.

The Person

• Fully time-served electrician with control panel and on-machine wiring experience.
• Proficient in reading electrical drawings and knowledgeable of 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.
