Overview

Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a fully integrated solution provider that delivers a wide spectrum of services across project lifecycles to the nuclear and defence sectors to recruit several Electrical Technicians on an 18 month contract, ending in late 2026 for a major nuclear client based near the Greater Reading area.

• Hourly rate: £38.17
• Working under CIS conditions
• Location: Greater Reading area
• Contract length: 18 months (ending late 2026)

Key skills / Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical related subjects.
• 18th edition (minimum)
• ECS/CSCS Gold Card
• Existing Security Cleared status (SC) and willing to undergo DV clearances.
• 1-2 years expeirence working in the nuclear sector

Work pattern

• An hourly rate of £38.17.
• Working pattern of Monday to Friday with option overtime (can do 11 on 3 off rotations)
• 7.5 hour shifts (options to do 12 hours if desired)
• CIS working conditions.
• Consistent work until late 2026.
