Job summary

A facilities management company in Belfast is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance electricians. This permanent role offers a salary of £45,000 with a pension contribution of up to 8% and generous holiday allowance. Position: Electrical Maintenance Manager
Type: Permanent
Location: Belfast, NI
Salary: £45,000 PA
Hours: Mon‑Fri 40 hours per week
We are recruiting for an electrically biased maintenance site manager to oversee a small group of maintenance electricians completing PPM and reactive maintenance duties on a secure facility in the Belfast area. The role is a permanent position paying £45,000 basic. Pension up to 8% contribution. 25 days holiday (plus stat) rising to 27 days (plus stat). Healthcare after 1 year service. Mon‑Fri days 40 hours per week.

Electrical Site Manager Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinate electrical engineers in the completion of PPM and reactive maintenance duties
  • Manage maintenance schedules
  • Plan and implement small works projects
  • Review service performance identifying areas where improvement is required and developing action plans
  • Provide escalation point for resolution of service performance
  • Monitor and control SLA agreements and evaluate KPI and contract progress
  • Compliance management
  • Oversight of sub‑contractors on site
  • H&S assessments and electrical statutory compliance
  • Client liaison
Requirements
  • Experience of engineer and maintenance oversight
  • Hold a building services / Electrical background and qualifications
  • Have managed electrical compliance
  • Experience of managing M&E engineers and working on PPM schedules etc.
  • Experience in Performance and Job Management systems (i.e. CAFM) and their application to the Building Services/FM industry
  • Intermediate IT skills
  • Strong customer services skills and experience
  • Service oriented attitude combined with innovative thinking
  • Background in Building Services and Hard Facility Management
  • An able negotiator with an ability to deal equally with junior and senior staff alike, to be firm in ensuring protocols are adhered to
  • Experience of H&S requirements, permit issuing and RAMS etc. plus sub‑contractor management
  • Able to clear a security check / clearance
