Pay Rate: £18.00 - £25.00 Per Hour (Negotiable based on experience AND PAY TYPE)

Our client, a materials and aggregates provider, is looking to hire an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a contract basis, working on a cement packing plant that operates 24/7. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance of production equipment.

Due to the 24/7 operation, candidates will be required to work on rotating shift basis, covering day / afternoon / night / weekend shifts on a rotation basis. (Average of 37 hours per week)

Candidates will join a small maintenance team and be responsible for routine planned maintenance, fault finding, and ad hoc repairs to ensure continuous production. Initial training includes shadowing experienced technicians across different shifts and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) training provided on site.

The ideal candidate will be Level 3 Electrically Qualified, with 18th Edition being advantageous to hold. The role will include both electrical and mechanical maintenance activities, so applicable candidate will have working in similar environments, completed M&E maintenance to production equipment and machinery.
