A leading manufacturing company in Nottingham is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on large-scale heavy plant and equipment. The role offers a competitive salary of £52,000 with strong bonus potential. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 engineering qualification and electrical competency. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Electrical fault finding on PLC-operated machinery.
  • Carrying out maintenance on hoppers, mixers, conveyors, kilns, silos, and slicing/mixing equipment.
  • Following PPM schedules via a tablet-based system.
  • Supporting electrical installations of new plant and upgrades.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – £52,000 + Bonus (OTE £55k–£60k) – Nottingham (NG5)

4 on 4 off – Days & Nights, 12 Hour Shifts – 10% Pension + Overtime (1.5x, Double on Sundays) + 23 Shifts Holiday

What you’ll be doing

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be working across a wide range of large-scale heavy plant and equipment.

  • Electrical fault finding on PLC-operated machinery
  • Carrying out maintenance on hoppers, mixers, conveyors, kilns, silos, and large-scale slicing/mixing equipment
  • Following PPM schedules via a tablet-based system
  • Supporting electrical installations of new plant and upgrades to existing equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety and contributing to continuous improvement

This is a hands-on Electrical Maintenance Engineer role in a heavy industrial environment, ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving and wants the chance to develop their skills further.
