Qualifications

• Must have a multi-skilled background with a focus on either electrical or mechanical disciplines.
• Experience in laundry, FMCG or similar industries preferred but not essential.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all planned maintenance in line with the site maintenance schedule.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, conducting repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation.

Skills

Fault finding with strong attention to detail

Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment

Education

NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

18th Edition (for electrical bias)

We are looking for a highly versatile, professional, and self‑motivated electrical mechanical engineer to join our dedicated engineering team. You'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of a busy industrial laundry facility, ensuring equipment is running efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all planned maintenance in line with the site maintenance schedule
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, carrying out repairs to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with current Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and management

Essential skills / qualifications

• A multi‑skilled engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition (for electrical bias)
• Steam, gas or boiler qualifications (e.g. BOAS, COCN1) – an advantage
• Experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced production or manufacturing environment
• Fault finding with strong attention to detail
• Background in laundry, FMCG or similar industries preferred but not essential
