Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth operations
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly, assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards and keep accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs
  • Collaborate effectively with mechanical engineers and production teams to address issues that arise and support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and efficiency
Qualifications
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (essential)
  • Electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3,ND, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering within food production or FMCG environments
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, control panels, and electrical fault‑finding
  • Ability to excel under pressure, respond quickly to unexpected breakdowns while keeping safety and efficiency at the forefront of work
