Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, maintain, and improve electrical systems and equipment across a variety of projects. The role involves providing technical expertise, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting project delivery from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components for projects, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with relevant standards.


• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for electrical installations.


• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure safe and effective operation.


• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.


• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, providing innovative solutions to minimise downtime and improve system performance.


• Ensure compliance with UK and international electrical standards, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including adopting new technologies and best practices.


• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.


• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in industrial, commercial, or construction projects.


• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, testing, and maintenance.


• Proficiency in electrical design software and relevant engineering tools.


• Understanding of UK electrical standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.


• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
