Our client, a leading name in the electrical installation systems industry, is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Telford. Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing electrical systems using 3D solid modelling CAD packages, preferably Creo 7.0.
• Creating innovative solutions for device integration and system design.
• Designing sheet metal and plastic parts for electrical systems.
• Working on the design of enclosed electrical busbar systems with an understanding of current carrying capacity and thermal dissipation.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, such as IEC 61439, IEC 62208, and their British Standard versions.
• Managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborating with a global R&D team to support the growth and innovation of the business.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in electrical design and proficiency with a design software such as Creo 7.0.
• Solid knowledge of design for excellence methodologies and general manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of device integration, system design, and electrical component design.
• Knowledge of thermal dissipation, short circuit ratings, and applicable industry standards.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-performing team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
