Job Description

The EHS Director will be part of our team delivering major healthcare construction projects nationwide.

This is a genuine opportunity to help shape the landscape of healthcare construction for a generation.

The role holder will act as the Health & Safety competent person and EHS management system process owner and will be integral to driving and achieving industry leading EHS standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and enablethe existingteam in achievingthe highest standards in EHS performance
  • Creating and delivering a positiveEHS engagement strategyacross major health construction projects
  • Manage and mentortheteam to ensure that they provide excellent support to the business
  • Carry out site visits andleadership tours
  • Help to create aEHS culturewithin T&T, our major programmes and our supply chain
  • Maintain excellent relationships withkey clients
Qualifications
  • 10 years+ experience in HSEin construction
  • CMIOSH is preferred
  • Principal Contractor experience
  • HSE Management Systems experience, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001
  • Excellent written communications and interpersonal skillsare essential
  • Team player, self‑motivated, and able to work using his/her own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skillswith a positive, can‑do flexible work attitude
  • Ability to work to strict deadlinesand handle conflicting priorities
  • Strong computer skillsincluding MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project Primavera
