Are you a dedicated and passionate veterinary surgeon seeking an exciting opportunity to work in a flagship hospital style practice? Look no further! We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate ECC Night Veterinary Surgeon to join an Independent Veterinary group in Chichester (West Sussex).

The Vets is a state-of-the-art veterinary practice offering a complete hospital-style service under one roof. It is conveniently located in Chichester, easily commutable from Worthing, Brighton, and Crawley. With ample parking facilities, they provide exceptional care for pets and their owners in the surrounding areas.

As an ECC Night Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in our dedicated on-site emergency service. You will be responsible for providing high‑quality veterinary care during the night shifts, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment and attention.

Position: ECC Veterinary Surgeon (Nights)

Salary: starting from £65,000

Rota:

  • They can consider a number of shift patterns, both annualised‑hours and non‑annualised. They currently have vets working 7 on‑14 off (annualised); 3 on‑7 off‑4 on‑7 off (annualised), 4 on‑5 off‑5 on‑7 off (non‑annualised).

  • There are no weekend day shifts; our shifts are on a rolling basis of 13‑hour nights with an average of 1 in 3 weekends.
  • Their 24/7 hospitals deliver continuous care to our inpatients in collaboration with ward vets from the day team.
