Job description

Educational Psychologist

Role Title: Educational Psychologist (Contract/Locum)

Rate: £650 per day

Start Date: ASAP / immediate availability preferred

Work Type: Face-to-face assessments, with potential flexibility for hybrid/remote components depending on the specific assignment

Main Focus:
  • Conduct statutory educational psychology assessments (e.g., for SEND / EHCP statutory work).
  • Provide high-quality psychological advice and reports in line with the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Work with children, young people, families, schools and Local Authority teams.
  • Deliver assessments and written reports to agreed standards and timescales.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Professional Qualification in Educational Psychology (doctoral level, BPS accredited).
  • HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
  • Strong assessment, formulation and written report skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assessment workflow.
