SO2, £37,280 to £39,152 per annum (actual salary)

37 Hours Per Week, Full Year

Horbury Academy is seeking to appoint an Education Welfare Officer to oversee Educational Welfare across the academy and work closely with the Student Support Team & Pastoral staff to improve academy attendance for all pupils.

The role will involve working as part of the Student Support Team to improve academy attendance and promote positive attitudes towards regular school attendance on the part of pupils and their parents/carers.

The successful candidate will work to secure pupil’s regular attendance at school including assisting in identifying causes of irregular attendance, liaising and co‑ordinating with outside agencies and playing a key role in ensuring all safeguarding and child protection procedures are adhered to.
