Overview
As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational development
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of all children in your care
- Creating and maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment
- Observing and recording children's progress, sharing regular feedback with parents and carers
Requirements / Qualifications
- A recognised childcare qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Early Years, Nursery Assistant, Early Years Educator, Childcare, Children and Young Peoples Workforce, Daycare experience
- At least two years' experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
- A warm, patient, and nurturing personality
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- Creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm for helping children reach their full potential
- All applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and thorough background vetting
