Overview

As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 0-5 years.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Supporting children's social, emotional, and educational development
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of all children in your care
• Creating and maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment
• Observing and recording children's progress, sharing regular feedback with parents and carers

Requirements / Qualifications

• A recognised childcare qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Early Years, Nursery Assistant, Early Years Educator, Childcare, Children and Young Peoples Workforce, Daycare experience
• At least two years' experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting
• A warm, patient, and nurturing personality
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
• Creativity, flexibility, and enthusiasm for helping children reach their full potential
• All applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and thorough background vetting
