Location: Bothwell Primary School

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: Depute Head Teacher 1, £65,058 per year

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Teacher in the overall management of the school as part of a Management Team.
  • Deputise for the Head Teacher in their absence and have responsibility for the leadership, good management and strategic direction of colleagues.
  • Work within the framework of the South Lanarkshire Council’s modernisation programme to provide high quality additional support needs and primary and secondary provision.
  • Deliver the curriculum and contribute to whole school initiatives, as appropriate.
  • Carry out the range of duties outlined in Annex B of “A Teaching Profession for the 21st Century”.
Qualifications & Requirements

We are now inviting applications from Fully Qualified (GTC) Primary Teachers.

Applicants must be registered with GTC Scotland, General Teaching Council (Scotland) Registration.

An Overseas Criminal Records Check is required for applicants born outside the UK or who have lived or worked outside the UK for a continuous period of three months in the past 10 years.
