A leading information and analytics company in London is seeking an In-house Editor-in-Chief to oversee the publication of high-quality content for a new journal. The successful candidate will manage editorial processes, nurture global relationships within the surgery and anaesthesiology communities, and ensure the delivery of impactful research. The Lancet Surgery & Anaesthesiology will be the latest addition to The Lancet’s family of world-renowned medical journals committed to publishing the best science for better lives. The team will handle high quality research, reviews, and commentaries to drive thought leadership across all aspects of surgery & anaesthesiology. They will build solid relationships with research communities to ensure we offer, exciting, interesting and thought-provoking content.
As an in-house Editor-in-Chief, you are a subject expert who will oversee the creation and publication of original material for our journal. You will take ownership of submissions and oversee quality peer review to ensure we publish high-quality content. You will build global relationships with experts in the community to attract and disseminate practice-changing work from the field.
