An established medical publishing group is hiring an experienced Editor in medical publishing to lead its portfolio of journals and digital platforms. This senior role is responsible for ensuring editorial excellence, compliance, and innovation across all published content, while shaping the future direction of the publishing strategy.

Key Responsibilities of an Editor in Medical Publishing

• Maintain high editorial standards across journals, supplements, webinars, podcasts, and videos.
• Oversee peer review processes, ensuring compliance with ethical and industry standards (ABPI included).
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to the editorial team.
• Partner with senior leadership to deliver the editorial strategy and support business growth.
• Launch and manage new titles, including international journals.
• Monitor medical and scientific trends to inform content innovation.
• Implement SEO best practices across publications to grow reach.
