A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an ECT Manager to oversee a well-established ECT service. The role involves providing senior clinical support and guiding the ECT team, ensuring compliance with ECTAS Standards, and leading clinical audit and research activities. To manage a well established ECT service, including providing senior clinical support and guidance to the ECT team and wider teams. You will also provide direct clinical care as the ECT Manager in line with ECTAS Standards, as well as identifying and taking the lead in developing clinical audit and research activity and ensuring effective process for clinical compliance checks are embedded within the clinical area, o Ensure that the SLA is delivered and reviewed in line with ECTAS Standards. o Ensure Trust policies, procedures and legislative directives relevant to ECT Dept are robustly implemented. o Support the development of the skills and knowledge of your team in order to maintain the competency level of the whole team, including skills analysis to inform the training plan. o Ensure that awareness of clinical and resource management information is used analytically to inform decisions that meet service user, team and organisational objectives. o Take the lead in implementing or supporting clinical and non-clinical risk management systems. o Implementation of regular team meetings and patient /carer feedback. o Challenge poor and unsafe practice, taking appropriate action to address substandard performance in a timely manner. o Uphold and implement HR policy and procedure to ensure safety, effectiveness and high standards of care. o Support the overall Trust vision and strategic implementation within your defined area of responsibility ensuring that clear communication within teams enables them to understand their supporting role. o Ensure robust and effective roster management.
