Ecommerce Manager

Poole

We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join an authentic British clothing brand with international reach. Launched in 2011, the brand is now available in hundreds of independent retailers throughout the UK and in major retail / Ecommerce accounts.

Ecommerce is our clients fastest growing channel, and they are looking for an experienced Manager to guide the brand and grow the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the online operation, optimising website performance, driving traffic and conversions, and ensuring an exceptional user experience for customers within this exciting fast paced rapidly expanding team/business.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary – DOE
  • Monday to Friday – 9:30am to 5:30pm
  • 22 days annual leave rising to 25 days after qualifying length of service
  • Early finish Fridays during the summer
  • £1000 worth of product of your choice per year (£500 per season)
Responsibilities
  • Day to day maintenance of the company website
  • Uploading, categorising, and managing all product data, copy and photography
  • Optimising site functionality according to UX best practices
  • Ensuring the website is appropriately merchandised and information is accurate
  • Managing an external development agency including budget, scaling, and project timelines
  • Supporting various departments with researching and installing new applications on the Shopify platform
  • Working closely with Customer Services to monitor quality of customer service experience
  • Working with freelance copywriters to ensure the most relevant product copy
  • Forecasting as well as daily monitoring of KPI's
  • Management of marketing strategy
  • Email strategy and execution via Mailchimp
  • Affiliate Management (AWIN)
What you will bring to this role
  • Experience in running a successful ecommerce site
  • Experience of working in the UK market to set ecommerce revenue targets
  • Senior level experience with a proven record of growth and being able to demonstrate the levers that they put in place to drive the growth
  • A firm understanding of process optimisation to drive efficiencies
  • A customer centric mindset to build loyalty and repeat business
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organisational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimise website performance and increase sales
  • A passion for eCommerce and staying updated with the latest industry trends
