Job description

Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new full time role supporting pupils in a Reception class? I am currently recruiting for a Level 2/3 Childcare Practitioner or Teaching Assistant to support a whole nursery or reception class in Rochdale (OL11). Starting a long-term position from ASAP. You will be working 5 days a week and will be expected to be comfortable supporting pupils with special educational needs; Autism & Non - verbal.

Aspire people have worked with this school for a while and feedback is always positive from staff.

As an agency employed TA, the schools will expect you to maintain the standards of a permanent member of staff so the following is expected:

  • Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge.
  • Minimum Level 2 Childcare (or equivalent) qualification for ratio purposes.
  • Regular assessments of pupils.
  • Able to engage in learning activities.
  • Confident supporting pupils with Autism and non verbal.

Our Manchester team will be available 24/7 for you should you need support with anything.
