Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: Weston-Super-Mare
Salary: 90-100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026

We are looking for a caring, energetic and committed Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive early years team. You will play a key role in helping children thrive during their foundation stage by supporting their learning, development, and well- being in a safe and stimulating environment.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Support the class Promote children's personal ,social and emotional development
  • Work with individuals and small groups to support early learning goals, including communication, literacy and numeracy
  • Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all the children at all times
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in an early year setting (school or nursery)
  • A patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach
  • Understanding of the Early Years foundation stage (EYFS) Curriculum
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
