Job summary

A nurturing education recruitment agency is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant in Bromsgrove. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Responsibilities include supporting children through play and routines, assisting with early literacy and social development, and encouraging independent learning. Ideal candidates should have nursery experience and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. A DBS check is required. Salary is dependent on skills and experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in nursery or Early Years settings is strongly preferred.
  • Willing to apply for a DBS if not already on the Update Service.
  • Must be available for a full-time role, Monday to Friday.

Early Years Teaching Assistant – Full time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) – Bromsgrove (B60)

Overview

A warm and nurturing environment, seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support young children’s early learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children through play, routines and guided activities
  • Assist with communication, early literacy and social development
  • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver a positive learning environment
  • Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive space for all learners
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Nursery or Early Years experience – strongly preferred
  • Care or support worker experience – also considered
  • Available for full‑time role (Monday–Friday)
  • Warm, patient and enthusiastic attitude
  • Confident communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
