Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years / Childcare is essential.
  • Proven experience in a childcare or nursery setting, ideally as Room Leader.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of your room, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
  • Mentor and support staff, promoting high standards in line with EYFS guidelines.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities tailored to children's needs.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their development.
