EYFS Practitioner - Bank

Agency: Teaching Personnel

Location: Birkenhead (CH43)

Start Date: Immediately

Rate of Pay: £13.75 per hour

Teaching Personnel are looking for committed, driven and passionate EYFS Practitioners to support a thriving nursery within the Birkenhead Area.

About the nursery:
  • Specialises in turning children into confident young learners
  • Based in a vibrant and bright property with 2 large outdoor areas to promote outdoor play and exploring the natural environment
  • Multi- activity room which are suitable for all activities including dance classes and cooking.
  • Healthy and nutritious menu provided which is updated on a seasonal basis
  • Separate play spaces for age groups based on mobility
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide high quality care to all children in the setting within the EYFS setting
  • Promote and support the learning and development of the children through play, activities and observationsMaintain a clean and safe environment for active learning
  • Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and specific nursery policies accurately
  • Be able to effectively communicate with children, colleagues and parents
  • Ability to adapt to a new nursery setting with professionalism and enthusiasm
What we are looking for:
  • Experience working in an EYFS settings (Nurseries, Reception class etc.) or alternatively any experience working with children in any type of setting
  • Ability to take a nurturing, forward-thinking and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or alternatively the willingness to obtain one)
  • Content to complete our EYFS CPD training
  • Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification (desirable)
