Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Officer to join the large team at Kinnaird Waters ELC Centre.

Overview

You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors. You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures to support high quality play and learning indoors and outdoors.
• Work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Registration with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Other requirements

• If selected, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
• The post is full time (37 hours) and full year (not term time) and is permanent within Falkirk Council Children’s Services.
• The ELC Centre is open from 8am to 6pm and you must be prepared to work a shift pattern between these hours.
