Exciting Opportunity for a Supply Early Careers Teacher (ECT)!

Tradewind are seeking dedicated and adaptable Early Careers Teachers to work across a range of vibrant and supportive primary schools across Fleetwood. This is a fantastic chance to gain diverse experience, build your confidence, and make a real impact on young learners. We have a selection of temporary roles available from daily cover to long-term maternity leave positions or 12-month contracts. Permanent roles are available based upon the success of a candidate.

About the Role

As a Supply Early Careers Teacher, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Adapt your teaching style to meet the diverse needs of individual pupils.
  • Provide a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Uphold safeguarding and school policies.
  • Follow planning and assessment procedures as directed by the school.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Gain experience in a variety of school settings and year groups.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
About You

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed ECTs who:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are in the final stages of their teacher training.
  • Have a strong understanding of the EYFS and/or KS1 curriculum.
  • Are passionate about early years education and child development.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are adaptable, resilient, and able to work in new environments.
  • Have strong classroom management skills.
  • Are proactive and able to use their own initiative.
  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
