Job summary

Overview

E-Commerce and Website Specialist

Location: Wolverhampton, hybrid, one day per week on-site

Salary: £55,000 to £60,000

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Latham & Bond HR are partnered with a global manufacturing group with 16 sites across Europe, Asia, and the US. The business produces a niche product in the HGV market with strong demand and limited competition. The digital channel is underdeveloped. This role is the first step in building it.

You will build the e-commerce setup from zero. You will decide how the website works. You will decide how products are presented. You will shape the customer journey, lead SEO, and take full ownership of the online store. Your work will have a direct impact on revenue and visibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage the e-commerce website from the ground up.
  • Create a clear site structure and customer journey.
  • Maintain accurate product listings and pricing.
  • Improve site speed, performance, and usability.
  • Lead SEO strategy and execution.
  • Track analytics and improve conversion rates based on data.
  • Work with sales and marketing to support product rollouts.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
