Job summary

First Military Recruitment is seeking a Hire Coordinator to support Bennie Equipment and Bennie Plant in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire. You will help manage short-term hire and sales administration, focusing on delivering excellent customer service and accurate processing of orders and invoicing.

You will schedule hires, coordinate transport, raise quotes, liaise with suppliers and customers, and contribute to CRM usage and process improvements to hit hire and sales KPIs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plant and/or equipment hire.
• Proactive attitude with strong administration.
• Customer-focused with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems such as Protean.
• Previous service or hire industry experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day activity of the hire dept to exceed customer expectations.
• Process short-term hire: scheduling, contacting customers, booking transport, quotes, invoicing.
• Assist sales administration: process packs, raise POs, data entry, booking, invoicing, finance providers.
• Ensure all hire and sales admin is accurate and timely.
• Identify new suppliers for cross-hire opportunities.
• Build customer relationships and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with service and sales teams.
• Engage with CRM system and support process improvements.
• Work toward hire and sales KPIs.
