Job summary

A leading IT consultancy is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer with active DV clearance for a contract role in London/Farnborough. This position requires a minimum of 4 days onsite per week. Responsibilities include setting up pre-production environments for secure messaging systems, installing and configuring RedHat OpenShift, and ensuring progress reporting to stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in Linux, RedHat, and OpenShift.

• Active DV or eDV Clearance is required for this role.

Role: Senior IT Systems Engineer

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Farnborough/London (On-site at least 4 days per week)

Clearance: UK National with DV clearance

Description

Deliver a pre-production test environment for a secure messaging system

Follow build instructions provided by vendor and create internal build documentation

Install and configure RedHat OpenShift Platform

Build and test production environment

Plan, track and report on progress for internal and external stakeholders

Liaise with required stakeholders across the client business to understand the system

Contribute to and agree test plans with test team to prove the solution

On-site minimum 4 days a week on site (London/Farnborough) for duration of activity
