Job summary

Leonardo Hotels in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Duty Manager to drive day-to-day hotel operations, greet guests and inspire a vibrant team across departments. You will support recruitment, coach new starters and handle guest concerns with confidence while upholding service standards.

Qualifications

• Greeting guests and motivating the team to deliver great hospitality.
• Strong operational knowledge to work across departments as required.
• Support interviews and recruitment as part of a team effort.
• Coach and train new starters to build confidence in their roles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to manage conflicts or complaints.
• Collaborate with HR to host engaging team activities.
• Preferably have experience working in a branded hotel or restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Get out and about in the hotel, greeting guests and motivating the team to deliver great hospitality
• Have strong operational knowledge with the ability to work across departments as required
• Support other managers with interviews and recruitment- it’s a team effort
• Coach and train new starters- we want everyone to feel confident in their new role!
• Have excellent problem-solving skills with the confidence to manage conflicts or complaints seamlessly
• Collaborate with your local HR team to host engaging activities for the team
