Job summary

Nuffield Health Guiseley is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the gym, including opening and closing during shifts. The role focuses on member engagement, service quality, and leading team members to uphold high standards.

You will bring sales experience, strong communication, and a collaborative “can-do” mindset. Training is provided, and Lifeguard duties may be required, reflecting the mixed fitness and wellbeing club environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Help achieve sales targets.
• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site.

Guiseley | Fitness & Wellbeing Club | Permanent | Part-time
Up to £28,037.08 Pro Rata depending on experience
24 hours per week (Shift Based Earlies, Lates and Weekends)

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift
• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.
• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides
• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.
• Help achieve sales targets
• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
