Job summary

SSP Group is hiring a Night Shift Duty Manager for M&S Simply Food at Glasgow Central Station. You will lead the night team, oversee opening/closing and daily operations, and ensure smooth service. The role offers a competitive base rate with enhanced night incentives.

The position requires experience leading a team in hospitality or retail. You’ll be part of SSP’s nationwide network, delivering first-class service to customers on a fast-paced night shift across a key transport hub.

NIGHT SHIFT DUTY MANAGER - M&S SIMPLY FOOD, Glasgow Central Station

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour+ as a little incentive, you will earn anextra £1.50 per hourfor hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to£15.25 per hour.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time (40 hrs). 4 days on 4 days off. Working flexiblyacross weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

ABOUT YOU:

• Due to some responsibilities within the Nightshift Duty Managerrole, applicants willneed to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

ABOUT THE NIGHT SHIFT DUTY MANAGER ROLE:

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations while solving problems on the fly.
• Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive.
• Inspire your team to deliver great customer service, be the go-to person for customer and team queries.
• Results focussed, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.
• Previous night shift experience leading a team in a busy Hospitality or Retail environment is required.
