Job summary

SSP UK & Ireland is seeking a Duty Manager for M&S Simply Food at Glasgow Central Station. The role covers opening, closing, and day-to-day operations across 40 hours per week with shifts 5am–11pm, including weekdays, weekends and holidays.

You will lead a fast-paced team, drive outstanding customer service and uphold store standards in a busy transport hub. The position offers a competitive hourly rate with a £1.50 night incentive and a supportive training environment to develop leadership

Qualifications

• Lead a team during busy shifts and deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience leading in hospitality or retail environments is preferred.
• Adept at maintaining energy, positivity, and efficiency on site.

• Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive.
• Inspire your team to deliver great customer service, be the go-to person for customer and team queries.
• Results focussed, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.
• Previous experience leading a team in a busy Hospitality or Retail environment is ideal!

About The Role

£15.25 per hour.

About The Role

DUTY MANAGER - M&S SIMPLY FOOD, Glasgow Central Station

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra £1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to £15.25 per hour.

Shift Pattern: Full-Time (40 hrs). Shifts between 5am - 11pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.
